Today sucked, and sucked hard. Like, homicidal tendencies hard. And I could’ve acted on them, but noooo, I have to believe in an invisible sky wizard who poisons our minds with “morality.” (Just kidding. Everyone knows that atheists are too busy being all holier-than-thou to be immoral.) Also, I’m sick. And beer, predictably, made me feel sicker. Long before it made me feel drunk. And nobody’s online to bitch at. Which means that the invisible sky wizard probably likes them better than me.

(Note: In case “invisible sky wizard” wasn’t a dead giveaway, I’m being silly, if for no reason other than to pass the time. And for the record, I can think of several very good answers to the “why good things happen to bad people” question, but the only one I’ll share is “how sure are we that I’m good people, exactly?” Because I’m not a preacher. Well, legally I am, but that’s beside the point. Interested parties, AIM “genderbunny,” because I’m bored and lonely. And slowly eating chicken soup, which works surprisingly well. Yay home remedies.)

So I am totally out of ideas. Last night I opted to blow the comic off rather than try to force anything through. I may update a comic tonight if something strikes me. Though the odds of being struck by an idea are, at my best estimate, far less likely than the odds that I’ll be struck by a car on the way to or from work. (Though it would give me something to write about. And the inability to actually write it for the next day or two.)

(This is also the very reason I’m taking so long to start TNP: I want a completed plot, and at least a chapter of scripts, before I start drawing. Of course, it would be going quicker if I wasn’t dragging my heels on that as well…)
